The art of knitting is practiced even today by craftsmen who manufacture various decorative objects, household objects or toys from rye, oats, barley or wheat straws, being 100% natural materials.

Although the number of skilled craftsmen in the art of knitting is smaller and smaller, those who knit are doing this both forfinancial reasons and due to the positive action of straws by their curative properties also shown by specialists or even by the actual practice of this craft.
