The first to draw attention of the fabrics are clothes. Worn by people everywhere, they draw attention by mastery and diversity. The peasant clothing has the shirt as the most common spread piece. The upper part of the shirts is richly decorated; in women this decoration came to massively cover the portion over shoulders. Women wear on their heads headscarf or handkerchief of silk thread.

The house was covered with embroidered textiles for wall decoration, that were woven on the width of the loom and on the chamber wall length; usually these embroidered textiles for wall decoration were placed on the side of the room where the bed was also placed. Later on, these interior decoration objects began to be attached to each other, along their length, and over time they were not placed on the wall anymore, but directly on the floor, thus creating carpets.

The decoration of embroidered textiles for wall decoration is recognized by the alternation of parallel stripes, which were perpendicular on the piece’s length, and by the lack of the decorative frame. Over time, geometrical motives disappear, being replaced by floral motives.
